A Word About
Artificial Intelligence
Because AI (artificial intelligence) has become such a contentious issue when discussing a writer's integrity, I feel a need to address it here. I don't use AI mostly because computers simply are bad writers. They flatten language and make a novel about as exciting as reading flatpack instructions. I write because it's fun and AI takes away all of the joy in telling a good story.
NONE of my books are AI generated in any way.
Every word is generated from my own over-active imagination and I develop my own plots and do my own research. This is both good and bad. While I can rightly be proud of my creative work, it also means my bad writing is my own damn fault.
I use a grammar and spell check app that points out errors and a human editor (bless her patient soul) reads each book for issues. She says I have a comma problem. I'm dealing with it.
The cover artwork I create (yes, I do that, too!) uses professional human generated commercial illustatrions as part, but the design and compilation is my own.
How can I generate a book a month? I write and design fast. That's really all there is to it.
