FREE SHIPPING - All Orders £10+

We offer FREE shipping on all orders of £10 or more for all domestic UK orders. For orders under £10 we offer Standard Ground shipping for a flat fee of £5.00. For international orders please inquire by email.

The Rum Lot has free Click and Collect at 306 London Road South, Lowestoft, NR330BG.  Watch for the opening of our new store, coming soon!


SHIPPING CUTOFF TIMES

We will attempt to ship within 2 business days, however due to COVID restrictions, it might be a day or two longer. Goodness knows, we can’t predict what happens when you add lockdowns and such in the mix, but we will do our best and we’ll contact you by email if there is a problem.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We ship internationally via DHL Express or we look for the best service and rates available to your country.  Please email us for rates.  Please note that any assessed duties or local taxes are not included in this rate and are the responsibility of the receiver. 

HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY ORDER HAS BEEN SHIPPED?

You will receive a shipment notification e-mail once your order has shipped. The e-mail will contain the tracking information as well as a link to track your package online if that is offered by the shipper.

DO YOU SHIP TO PO BOXES?

We do not ship to PO boxes, only to real, live addresses to real, live people.

WHY ARE WE RE-USING OLD BOXES AND PLASTIC BUBBLE WRAP IF THE RUM LOT IS SO &*^% EARTH FRIENDLY?

We recycle everything and if we end up with a good reusable carton or some extra bubble wrap that was sent to us, we’ll reuse it.  We don’t buy any new shipping materials that are not recyclable, so if you get some of those awful styrofoam peanuts in your package, it’s because someone sent them to us and we’re passing them on so we get SOME reduction of their carbon footprint. We try.

RETURN POLICY
30 Day Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. You may return an item within 30 days of receipt if it is in original, unworn condition and with tags attached. Refunds for all transactions will be issued to the original form of payment.  Food, cosmetics, and other consumable items cannot be returned.

FINAL SALE ITEMS

Items marked "Final Sale" are not eligible for return. Gift certificates are non-refundable. 

Items marked "Final Sale" on a product page are not eligible for return or exchange, and are not eligible for store credit. Please read final sale item descriptions carefully. Final Sale items sent back to us will not be credited back to your account so please take care in ordering.

HOW SHOULD I SHIP MY RETURN?

In order for us to process your return as quickly as possible, please fill out all the information requested in our Returns Portal. Make sure to print out the return sheet listing your customer information, the items being returned and place it in the box. Place all items in their original packaging into a secure box or envelope mailer.  

WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE REFUNDED?

Transit time back to the deepest, darkest Suffolk may take a while. Please allow for that. You will receive an e-mail once your return has been received & processed. Once your return is processed, please allow up to 2 weeks for your refund to appear on your bank account (depending on your financial institution).
